Public Art & Exhibitions
We are honoured to have worked with some of Ireland's most renowned artists. Helping them develop their visions into large scale public art installations. Using cutting edge technologies such as 3D scanning, 3D Printing and Robotic CNC milling, we can ensure every detail is scaled as if by the artists own hand. We have also been involved with cultural and heritage projects close to our hearts. From designing period accurate sets to filling them with realistic and lifelike props, completing the visitors’ immersive experience.
Iontaise Iontas/ Fossil Wonder
Exhibition piece by Ruth E Lyons
As part of the Percent for Art Scheme and was curated by Wicklow County Council Arts Office, Iontas was commissioned by the Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board. We were delighted to work on this project with Ruth Lyons to provide the inlays. IONTAISE IONTAS is about memory, heart, endurance and legacy.
Rory Breslin’s Mask of the Shannon
As part of the renovation of Church Street, Athlone, Rory Breslin was commissioned by Westmeath county council with creating an art installation for the area. Rory came to us with his beautifully crafted wax sculpt which stood just shy of 90cm tall. We used our 3D Scanner to create a 3D model of his work, which was then digitally enlarged to 2m in height! The full size model was then Robotically machined by our Kuka Robotic Arm, which was used by Cast.ie to mold and cast the finished piece in Bronze. At over 2m tall this was one of the largest single pieces we have milled in the studio to date.
